Mooma

They are the third generation of the family dedicated to growing apples in the Empordà. The family's experience of more than 50 years in the fruit sector allows them to offer quality products derived from apples such as juices, vinegars, preserves, liqueurs...

The apple contains minerals, vitamins and antioxidant polyphenols. This fact places its products at the basis of a healthy and balanced diet. Mooma products are km-0 since all the raw material comes from the company's own plantations located in Palau-sator (Baix Empordà).

In 2016, after 4 years of research, they decided to market Mooma (Montgrí + Poma): the first Catalan cider! It is a fresh, completely natural, short-chain, low-alcohol and healthy drink. It is a USA-type cider.

Agri-food Mas Saulot

At Mas Saulot, cider and juices are made. It has more than 20 hectares of apple trees. The family settled there six generations ago when Llorenç Vidal bought the land and the farmhouse. The first apple trees were planted in 1962; before this land had been used for other types of farming, such as rice fields, which are very typical of the area.

But the Lock

This farm was incorporated in 2000, although the family had been cultivating it for decades. It was the first in Baix Empordà to produce apples. Its sandy soil and the fact that it is next to the Ter river give them certain advantages in production. This is where they have part of the experimental farm of new varieties of cider apples.

Girona Fruits

Pere Frigola was one of the founding partners of Girona Fruits, manager and president. Being members of the only cooperative in Girona with a real cooperative operation gives them the possibility of manufacturing and producing almost all year round with the best raw materials in the area from their plantations and those of their associates.
