Filgut Kombucha

The story of Filgut was born in California, in the summer of 2018 during the concert tour of the Barcelona indie band Lury & The Wise Men.

Oriol, musician, entrepreneur and band leader, had been living in San Francisco for a year. A big fan of Wholefoods, it didn't take him long to discover this new probiotic and bubbly drink, called kombucha.

When Quim, musician, "master" in nutrition and bassist of the band arrives in San Francisco, he also joins the kombucha "party". Kombucha was the star "rookie" drink during the 9 "bolos" around the band. .

Once in Barcelona, they accepted the challenge of developing this drink by adapting it to the Mediterranean gastronomic style.

Thus Filgut was born. Now from the workshop in Sant Cugat, Quim, who has become a kombucher master, has created four distinct aromatic proposals that must be tasted.

Filgut Mediterrànea

INGREDIENTS

Mineral water, kombucha culture, organic sencha green tea, organic sugar, hibiscus, chamomile and rosemary.

Organic Sencha green tea

Chamomile flower

Popular medicine has used chamomile since time immemorial to relieve digestive and skin problems or simply as a relaxant.

Rosemary.

Very abundant in the Mediterranean basin. The interest that this aromatic plant arouses today lies in the powerful antioxidant effect of some of its components.

Gingermint

Organic ginger

Hibiscus contains abundant organic acids, such as hibiscus, malic and tartaric acid, in addition to mucilages, phytosterols and pectin, and is considered a privileged source of vitamin C. It stands out for its vitamin, aperitif, digestive and laxative properties.

Lapsang black tea

Lapsang Souchong is a unique tea, naturally smoked with fir wood from the Zheng Chan mountains in the Fujian region. It is grown at more than 3,000 m. altitude. The tea is smoked in bamboo baskets. Kombucha is appreciated as a complement to a good meal for its captivating aroma. With good body, its color is dark. Its delicate smoking process makes its tasting an experience.
